first sabbath in spain

Went to church and I kept doin that thing where you start to doze off and then you bounce your head up really quick. not only was i really tired, but the pastor speaks sooooooo fast that i couldn't understand anything he was saying! i must admit, i felt really guilty for almost falling asleep like 4 times, but it was so early!

so anyways, after church like 20 of us went on a hike to this hill/wannabe mountain. It was a really nice hike and the view from the top was gorgeous. and of course, it was a great bonding experience. the students here that are from the US are all really cool. And the spanish kids are cool too of course, but most of them are shy and dont want to hang out with us americans..at least not that i can tell so far. maybe its just because we're new. My roommate is from here though, and she's awesome. Her name is Maria Fernanda and she introduces me to a lot of the students that are locals. which of course, helps me with my spanish!
