Fin de Semana

This weekend was super fun! Saturday we went to sabbath school and church and then we went to lunch. after lunch i hung out with a few of the local guys and two girls we and just talked and whatever. then the fun began...!

11 of us girls went to puerto de segunto which is like a nice boardwalk with a lot of restaurants and we ate dinner down there and then after that we went to a club called zoom and danced the night away. kinda awkward at first cause i guess in spain they usually dont dance..everyone just stands in circles and kinda bops back and forth..but we were actually dancing and slowly more and more people joined in. then some of local guys showed up so that was fun to get more ppl dancing too. we hung out on the beach for a little bit and then went back to the dorms. oh yea, and the music in the club is good but they play the same 10 songs over and over..So LAME! we're gonna have to find a better club..

and sunday was a bum day...no surprsie there.. and i am officially the voice teacher at CAS! they didn't have a teacher so when i tried out for choir they asked me to give lessons and i'm soooo excited:]]]]] and i make 10 euros an hour..which is like $16 ! yea, thats it..

    In portuguese we say "Fim de Semana" or "fds" for online lingo...Sounds like you had an awesome weekend...wish i could join you and fly in for the weekends.... but I'm shocked/excited for you about your oppurtunity to give voice lessons.....sounds awesome...btw do you do sitck out like a sore thumb when it comes to your height? What's the average height of people over there? jw

    vini you should come!! on nov. 19-23 a bunch of us are going to london, and you should fly out there too! it would be sooo much fun! :] and yes, i kinda stick out cause everyone is like 5'8 and under..but there are some pretty tall vball guys, which is nice;) lol

    I would fly over if i wasn't in school, are you gonna stay over there for your vacation at the end of the semester or are you gonna come back home? That is where i need to be.....i'm 5'8!!!! lol

    yea i'm staying here the whole year so i can travel a lot during xmas. you should come during your xmas break!
