LONDRES!

Its been awhile since i've written! i guess i'm getting lazy. Anyways, I went to London a week ago and had a GREAT time. The weather was horrible-really cold and rainy-but we still had a lot of fun. I went with eight other people. We arrived a newbold on thursday night and then got up on Friday to head into the city. Friday we saw Big ben and the parliament building. We saw buckingham palace and oxford street (which is like the 5th avenue of london). We saw the london eye and trifalger square (i have no idea how to spell that). We went into harrods, which was SO cool and visited covent gardens. And of course, we did some shopping:] We headed back to newbold that night and hung out with a bunch of the locals.

Saturday it was really rainy so on of the guys offered to drive us around london so we wouldn't have to walk. So we saw even more on saturday via car. We drove by the globe, saw the natural history museum, saw more shopping, drove by all the sights we had seen the previous day and then we got out of the car to visit the london bridge. London bridge is REALLY cool as well. We looked at the london tower but it was closed so we couldn't go in. afterwards, we ate fish 'n chips which were not as good at the one's at ram's head..but what fish 'n chips are?! haha. Saturday night we went to a club with a bunch of the locals from newbold and danced the night away!

Sunday we went into london again and went to the london tower. It was cool because there were a lot of exhibits. We saw a small torture exhibit, the crown jewels (where we saw the world's largest diamond), king henry's armor and clothes and stuff, and a few other things. We walked around town a bit and then went to brick lane where we bargained for some delicious indian food! at the restaurant we met some guys who showed us around town some more and then we headed back to the school.

Monday we went to Windsor which was probably my favorite place. Windsor castle is where the queen lives when she's not at buckingham and the whole town is just really cute. I wish we had more time there, but we had to leave early to catch out flight.

Hopefully I'll be able to go back to london because I loved it!
